The Tiger Woods Circus

I call the Tiger Woods scandal a circus because the media has turned it into a super sideshow. There has been report after report talking about how his polished image has been tarnished do to his many alleged affairs, but people are missing the whole point. They are alleged affairs! Still, the media is saying he should lose his wife and play the victim. She hasn't said anything about it yet. Reporters are also saying he should lose his endorsements and new golf stars should be looked at.

Last I checked, the media isn't in charge of Tiger's well being. I think a lot of true Tiger Woods fans would be outraged if his biggest endorsers dropped him because of a car accident. Roman Polanski had sex with a thirteen year old girl, and people are standing by him; Kobe Bryant raped a call girl at a hotel and has less people outraged at him. So, why Tiger Woods? Is it because he's the first black sports figure to make more money than any other sports' superstar in recorded history?
