About blog
Blogging is a great tool I’ve learned to encourage people. I had a number of blogs on the go and realized I needed to simplify life. My two main ministry blogs focused on two ends of the spectrum. EmpoweringInspiration.com was a practical application for life in the Spirit while I kept DrinkFromtheDeep.com as more of an esoteric discovery of our transcendent Father. Intimate Transcendency is an enigma that always brings to me awe when I consider our God.
I also had Revtrev Reviews where I reviewed books and DVD’s and just about anything that interested me. Finally my original blog – Streams of Consciousness – where I rambled and ranted about anything from politics to theoretical astrophysics – I’ve also decided to include in the remake of this site.
I started RevTrev as a way to communicate with our family and friends while we were living in New Zealand. When we came back, I posted articles on church life that I had written while I was in ministry. Eventually I turned it into a social networking site for myself. As of November 2009 it’s now a blog that gives practical how-to advice and embraces the mystery of the Divine. I’ll include reviews and the occasional rant.
